Created by Virginia police chiefs who wanted to focus on enhancing the educational and training opportunities of law enforcement, the business community, and citizens alike, the Virginia Police Chiefs Foundation (VPCF) was established in 1993 as the charitable and educational arm of the Virginia Association of Chiefs of Police. The foundation's primary concentration is on education and training.

VPCF College Scholarship Program
The Virginia Police Chiefs Foundation Scholarship Committee has selected the winners of the VPCF College Scholarship Program. Applicants can expect to receive a letter notifying them of their status later this month. 2008 Cycle 4 CYCLE Bicycle Ride a Resounding Success
Seventy riders and more than 60 volunteers joined VPCF on Saturday, April 26 in Williamsburg for the 2008 Cycle 4 CYCLE 53 K Bicycle Ride, graciously hosted by the Williamsburg Police Department. Quarterpath Park marked the starting point and finish line for this 33-mile ride along streets lined with colorful azaleas and dogwoods. Click here for the full story.
