ILCT: Who Should Attend
Each participant must be willing to commit to the entire educational process as we will take the learning experiences from each to improve the experience of the whole group. We are seeking applicants who want to make a difference, and who recognize the need for change.
All students enrolled in this program are required to stay on campus and/or the designated housing facility throughout both phases of the program. There are no exceptions.
Applicants applying to this school should:
- Have shown the desire for career advancement and professional development;
- Possess above average written and oral communication skills; and
- Be willing to commit to the entire educational process including:
- completion of all pre-course work assignments
- attendance at all classroom sessions of both the summer and fall phases of the program
- completion of all course assignment
All applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Completed a basic supervisory school;
- Must occupy a first-line supervisor or mid-level manager position (at a minimum);
- Have a minimum of five years experience;
- Must have the recommendation of his/her agency administrator supporting their attendance; and
- Applicant's agency administrator must agree to the conditions of full-time attendance to the program.
