New Chiefs/Deputy Chiefs Training School: Details
Application Deadline: August 29, 2008
The New Chiefs/Deputy Chiefs Training school will be held September 30- October 2, 2008, at the Natural Bridge Hotel in Natural Bridge, Virginia. Classes begin at 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, and end at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 2. The dress code for this training is business casual (collared shirts, no jeans).
Certification
This seminar has been approved by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) for Partial In-service Credit. Pre-approved DCJS PIC-3 Forms and certificates of completion will be distributed at the close of the training. Participants must attend a minimum of 4 hours to be eligible to receive credit.
Program Fee
The program fee includes lodging, meals (beginning with lunch on September 30th and ending with lunch on October 2nd), program tuition and materials, welcome reception and break services. The cost of the program is as follows:
- VACP Member Agencies: $400
- Non-VACP Member Agencies: $450
Lodging
The program fee includes lodging for the nights of September 30th and October 1st at the Natural Bridge Hotel. Lodging arrangements are made by the Virginia Police Chiefs Foundation. If special accommodations are needed, please contact Stephanie Diaz at (804) 285-8227.
Cancellation Policy
If cancellation is received before the stated deadline, you will be eligible for a partial refund, but assessed a $75 scheduling fee. No refund will be granted for any withdrawal notice received on after the stated deadline. No-shows to the training are not eligible for refunds. Qualified substitutions are gladly accepted with prior approval.
