First Line Supervisors Training School

The program has been designed for those newly appointed as supervisors or those soon to be promoted, and is most applicable to individuals who have had little or no prior supervisory training. This program is designed to assist officers in their transition to their new role as supervisor. Basic supervisory concepts will be presented that will serve as a foundation to enable each supervisor to identify some of the most critical components of supervision.

In addition to classroom discussions, participants have an opportunity to network with other criminal-justice professionals during informal breaks and meals.

This program will be conducted each year in the spring and fall.
