Who Should Attend

CYCLE is for students entering high school with recognized leadership potential but who have not yet found their place in this new and challenging environment.

In addition, to be eligible to attend CYCLE,

• Student must be recommended by a school resource officer (SRO), police officer, or sheriff;
• Students must be rising tenth graders;
• Students must be between 13-15 years old;
• Students must have no major infractions on their discipline records;
• Students must have a minimum 2.0 grade point average;
• Student must complete an essay on an assigned topic;
• Students must provide a letter of recommendation supporting their desire to attend.
