SCHOLARSHIPS

 

As part of its mission, the VPCF is committed to increase learning opportunities for members of the law enforcement community and their families. Through the generosity of our donors, the Virginia Police Chiefs Foundation is able to offer scholarships for law enforcement officials to attend VPCF Training and Education programs. These scholarships are:

Altria Group, Inc. Scholarships for ILCT

Two full scholarships provided by a grant from the Altria Group, Inc. for law enforcement officers to attend the Institute for Leadership in Changing Times (ILCT).

Altria Group, Inc. Scholarships for PELS

Two partial scholarships provided by a grant from the Altria Group, Inc. for law enforcement officers to attend the Professional Executive Leadership School (PELS).

Lex T. Eckenrode Scholarship for PELS

Partial scholarship to attend the Professional Executive Leadership School (PELS).

Needs-based Fee Waivers & Discounts

When funding is available, the VPCF will provide fee waivers & discounts to attend VPCF training and education programs.

 

In addition, the Foundation is proud to offer a College Scholarship Program for dependant children of active police officers employed in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
