The VPCF is governed by a Board of Directors composed of police chiefs, citizens, and business/corporate representatives. The Board of Directors has appointed Lex Eckenrode to serve as the chief executive officer of the foundation. VPCF's office is located just on the outskirts of Richmond in Henrico County, Virginia.
